No, I haven't forgotten my blog!

It's been a month since I posted a new entry. I'm not doing so well, am I? I had my neck surgery on April 17 and haven't done any sewing since then. I'm not supposed to lift anything heavier than a "newspaper and cup of coffee" for at least one more week. That has made it impossible to set up my sewing machine. I thought about setting it up and leaving it up before my surgery, but decided that a neat house would be more condusive to a speedy recovery. I can't stand to have a messy house when I feel bad - it doesn't bother me as much when I'm feeling well. We went to Florida last week. Had planned to stay two weeks, but business back in SC demanded that we return sooner. I had hoped to get some crocheting done during the trip, but couldn't get into a comfortable working position with my neck brace on. The only thing that I've accomplished during the past month is about 8 completed pages for the scrapbook that I'm making for my granddaughter. I'm using pictures from the trips that she has taken with us. Hopefully I can start working (and lifting) after my doctor visit next week.
