Hello from Florida!
Sunday morning we decided to pack up and head out to Florida. We have a house here in Ormond Beach and come down every six weeks or so. Ideally, we stay about two weeks, but it's been months since we've stayed longer than a week. Maybe this time . . . . On Wednesday we went to the flea market at the Volusia County Fairgrounds in Deland. It was more compact than usual since the vendors were set up in the parking lot because of the upcoming fair. I'm including a picture of a 'life saver' cactus that I bought. I had never seen anything like it. The vendor said that they are easy to grow - will fill up a pot and have lots of the unusual flowers. Cancel the 'including a picture'. For some reason, everytime I try adding the photo, I get kicked off-line. Pictures will have to wait until we get back to SC. I brought my sewing machine with me, but haven't done any piecing. I've been working on some hand-quilting on a printed panel quilt I'm doing for one of my grandsons. I also started knitting a fuzzy scarf for my oldest granddaughter. Hopefully, I'll be able to finish at least one hand-crafted item for each of the grandkids by Christmas.
